There is speculation going around that current Fulham owner, Mohamed Al Fayed, is in talks with Shahid Khan, owner of Jacksonville Jaguar, to sell the his Premier League club – Fulham.

According to Sky Sports, Al Fayed is in advanced talks with the Pakistani businessman and a deal could be struck by this weekend.

Forbes magazine ranks Khan in 179th place in the list of top 400 richest Americans. It is estimated that he has net worth of around £1.65 billion.

The 62-year-old car parts manufacturer has already tried his hand at other sports with the Jaguars franchise in the NFL.

Al Fayed, who bought Fulham in 1997, has kept them afloat in Premier League and brought them into Europe as well where they played Europa League final in 2010.

The club is in good hands as it is effectively debt-free and may prove to be a good deal for both Khan and Fulham fans.
