Police clashed with football fans in the centre of Paris on Friday, after Algeria beat Senegal 1-0 In the final of the African Cup of Nations.
Algerian fans poured onto the streets around the Champs Elysee, setting off flares and waving flags.
The mood then became tense as police fired tear gas to control the crowds.
The clashes continued into the early hours of Saturday.
