Paris Saint-Germain has unveiled the clubs new logo which will be officially launched next season, that is expected to show the work carried on the strategic foundations of the clubs brand. The club has decided to capitalise on the most significant element of the brand, the word ‘Paris’.
The new logo has ‘Paris’, which is clearly visible on the fore and the Eiffel tower in the heart it. The words ‘Saint Germain’ is at the base of the logo, with the fleur de lys emblem just above it. Paris’s major brands were the inspiration behind the font used on the new logo, the colours chosen are more luminous and is highlighted with a touch of gold. The Eiffel Tower remains at the centre and is most prominent part of it.’
Just like the other international football‘s major clubs and the motivation of the club President Nasser Al-Khelaifi, Paris Saint-Germain has decided to go for a new identity. The new concept hopes to bring the brand up to the standards of excellence of Paris itself.
Nasser Al-Khelaifi said, “The evolution of the Paris Saint-Germain logo marks an important stage in the implementing of our ambition, namely making Paris Saint-Germain one of the world’s greatest sporting brands.”
