Partizan Belgrade v Manchester United: Group L - UEFA Europa League
The Frenchman had his first start since returning from injury and looked the most lethal of United's attackers. Anthony Martial did not get the service he deserved but whenever he had the ball at his feet, he looked to create something out of it. His close control and trickery kept the opposition on their toes. The Frenchman also drew quite a few fouls, as the home side struggled to deal with his movement and diagonal runs.

Martial also dropped deep to pick up the ball from midfield and initiate attacks. He lacked support from the other attackers in the team but kept striving to carve out chances for United. After Brandon Williams won the penalty, the Frenchman stepped up to take the spot kick. Manchester United’s record from the spot has not been good this season but Martial showed no signs of being nervous, sending the goalkeeper the wrong way and giving his team the lead.
He was eventually replaced by Marcus Rashford in the second half. By then, Martial had ensured that United earned their first away win of the season.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
