On asked about his contract which expires next summer, the French left-back was quoted by Sports Witness: “No, not at all. It’s personal. It’s not Manchester (United) that don’t want me to sign a new contract. This whole thing is personal. Manchester United’s dream is that I finish my career there, but this is something personal.”
Many feels that this would be the perfect time for Evra to leave the club. David Moyes was looking for a replacementin the name of Leighton Baines, and the boss most likely would sign the English left-back in winter.
