Pogba: Not sorry to see United lose!

Soon after assisting his side Juventus into the last eight of the Champions League with a 5-0 aggregate win, the French ace took a dig at his former club saying he was not sorry to see the Reds lose on Tuesday.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side suffered a painful defeat at the hands of Jose Mourinho’s Real Madrid netting only 1 against Real’s 2 in a nail biting last leg encounter at Old Trafford following the controversial Nani red card decision. Pogba added some more fuel to an already flaming Manchester United camp saying this statement.

“Did I watch Manchester United yesterday? Of course I did. Was I sorry to see them lose to Real? No,” he told reporters at Juventus Stadium.

Alessandro Matri and Fabio Quagliarella netted one each to help Bianconeri beat Celtic to move into the quarters, and Pogba expressed his confidence saying they are looking forward to go all the way this time.

“We are pleased. It was a very difficult game and we played the right way,There is a great confidence within the team and the staff, and we will try to win the Champions League because we are Juve.I know the fans always expect me to score, but today it didn’t matter because the most important thing was to win. The game was not as easy as it seemed tonight.” the 19-year-old followed.

“I just want to play and win, that’s all. The coach believes in me, and I’m glad I came here to play.” he concluded.
