Recently, Scholes was in China where he took part in the 2016 Mission Hills Golf Tournament. The tournament’s organizers put up a football shooting target for the participants to take aim and try their luck at.
In the video, all the celebrities taking part in the tournament took turns in taking shots aimed at the target. The target had panels attached with numbers signifying the score they would get for hitting that particular panel. Most of the celebrities hit the target with some decent strikes while others took some shots that were quite weak until Paul Scholes stepped up. Scholes, with a cap on his head, took two shots at the target and destroyed the panels on the target itself! Here is the video. Scholes shoots in the end.
Scholes ruined the game for everybody with those powerful strikes but proved to everybody that he still has a lethal shot on him. The game’s organizers must have surely regretted asking Scholes to shoot at the target after this. The BT Sport pundit can surely still easily hack it at the top level although fitness might be a bit of an issue. Manchester United play Chelsea tonight at 8.30pm and United’s official twitter page posted a classic strike of his against the blues.

The way he so effortlessly takes aim and breaks the panels is a glimpse into his ability as a footballer and many believe that he can still play games in the Premier League. Surely, Manchester United fans must miss the man. Nonetheless, the legend Paul Scholes has still got it.
