Chelsea legend, Petr Cech was voted the best ever goal keeper to grace the English game by the Premierleague.com readers. The Czech international amassed 46% of the votes, pipping former Manchester United beasts Peter Schmeichel and Edwin van der Saar who finished second and third respectively.
Petr Cech was pitted against some of the greats of yesteryears including Englishman David Seaman of Arsenal, Fabian Barthez of Manchester United and ever present Shay Given and Mark Schwarzer who still play their trade in the Barclays Premier league.
