PFA Team Of The Season 2018-19
Six Manchester City players have been named in the Premier League Team of the Year 2018-2019. Sergio Aguero, Sterling, Bernardo Silva, Fernandinho, Laporte and Ederson have all been included after Pep Guardiola's side clinched yet another Premier League title.
PFA Team of the Year 2018-19: Ederson, Trent-Alexander Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Aymeric Laporte, Andrew Robertson, Paul Pogba, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, Sadio Mane.
In a 4-3-3 formation, Man City shot stopper Ederson is in goal with Trent-Alexander Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Aymeric Laporte and Andrew Robertson across the back line. In the middle of the field there's Paul Pogba, Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva while up front Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero and Sadio Mane finish off the line-up.
Liverpool came very close to win Premier League 2018/19 but Manchester City tipped Liverpool with one point to win the title. Four Liverpool players managed to make it to the PFA Team of the Year 2018-19, Trent-Alexander Arnold, Virgil van Dijk, Andrew Robertson and Sadio Mane. Liverpool were brilliant this season and they secured their highest Premier league points. The defence line of PFA team of the year is guided by Ederson at goal, Trent-Alexander Arnold at right back, Van Dijk and Laporte at the center and Andrew Robertson at left back Position.
Paul Pogba managed to make it to the PFA Team of the Year 2018-19, He's the only player to feature from teams other than Liverpool and Manchester City. Pogba's inclusion came as a surprise for many football fans with players like Eden Hazard and Mohamed Salah left out of the list. Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva are also included alongside Paul Pogba in the Midfield, Bernardo Silva and Fernandinho were brilliant for City throughout the season.
Aguero, Mane and Sterling will bolster the attack for PFA Team of the Year 2018-19, Mane was joint Golden boot Winner with 22 goals for Liverpool. Sterling and Aguero were a vital part of Manchester City's attacking force, which helped them to retain the Premier League title.
