5 players Spurs will look to sign this summer

Reports from both England and the Netherlands have strongly linked Ajax defender Davinson Sanchez with a move to Spurs and judging by the veracity of the sources, it seems as if the deal will soon be concluded. The Colombian has been one of Eredivisie's best defenders in recent times and the proposed fee is told to be in the region of £35 million or above.

While Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld have obviously been pivotal figures in making Spurs the best defence in the league in the past two seasons, but there has always been a lack of depth at the back for Spurs in that department. Kevin Wimmer can step in but has never really been good enough to act as a proper replacement for two of the best defenders in the league.
