Poland will welcome Moldova to the National Stadium Warsaw in the group stage of the UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers on Sunday.
The hosts have three wins and three defeats apiece in their six games in the qualifiers thus far and are in second place in the Group E table. They trail Albania by four points and will look to close the gap with a win in this match.
They met the Faroe Islands on Thursday, recording a 2-0 away win. Sebastian Szymański opened the scoring in the fourth minute of the match while Adam Buksa scored in the second half after Faroe Islands defender Hørður Askham was sent off in the 48th minute.
The visitors have two wins to their name in the qualifying campaign thus far and are in fourth place in the Group E table. They have recorded two wins in a row in the qualifiers, including a 1-0 away win over the Faroe Islands last month. They met Sweden in a friendly on Wednesday, suffering a 3-1 defeat.

Poland vs Moldova Prediction
Biało-czerwoni have a strong home record in European qualifiers and have kept clean sheets in six of their last seven home games. They also have a 100% home record against the visitors and are strong favorites.
Head coach Michał Probierz was without the services of prolific striker Robert Lewandowski through injury but still managed to record a win in his debut match. He became the first manager of the national team to do so in 26 years.
Their return flight to Warsaw from the Faroe Islands was delayed due to bad weather, which might have impacted their training for the match. Adam Buska, who scored the second goal in that match, reportedly picked up an injury and might sit this one out.
The Tricolours have just one win in their last 15 away games in European qualifiers. They have scored just one in three away games against Poland thus far. They pulled off an upset in the reverse fixture in June, overturning a two-goal deficit, and will look to repeat that performance here.
Nonetheless, considering their poor away record in European qualifiers, we back the hosts to eke out a narrow win.
Prediction: Poland 2-1 Moldova
