Match performance – one goal, one assist and goal-account opened
The Northern Ireland international opened both his goals and assists account in West Brom’s 3-1 win against Watford that saw them rise to the 7th position in the league, above Everton and just a point off Manchester United.
Brunt delivered a terrific ball from a corner in the first-half for fellow Northern Irishman Jonny Evans to nod home. He followed it up with a low, driven free-kick just outside the box that found the back of the net through a deflection. Matt Phillips sealed the victory for the Hawthorns with a third goal but Brunt takes full plaudits for a superb performance in the win.
