Real Madrid comes from losing to their eternal rival by 3-0 only 3 days ago. The Champions League winners were not accurate to score in the last Clasico due to the responsibility given to a future star player that still needs to grow, Vinicius Jr.
However, by only getting a bit more precise, they could have won the game. Today, after being eliminated in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, they meet again in the Calendar of the Spanish league. The result defines the resolution of the league this season.
Although is not the last match, La Liga could be sentenced for Real Madrid in case of losing, again, against the Catalan team. Here I present my predictions of what will happen on Saturday:
FC Barcelona will win again at the Santiago Bernabéu with a very similar system but with different players. In this case, there will be a greater presence of players like Arturo Vidal, Arthur, and Aleñá in the middle of the field, so that football will be a bit faster and more aggressive on the part of the Barça team and with more touches. We must remember that the presence of Busquets is imperative for Barcelona to win today.
Different characters will make a different match today. Players such as Vidal, Arthur and Coutinho could possibly make the difference for the Catalan team.
It will be a game with little fluidity since the white team will also try to take the centre court, but nevertheless this time they will yield much more the ball than in the first game. This is due to the search of the long passes to the space to try to generate danger with the speed of the players like Bale or Vinicius. Also, it has to do with excessive physical wear from last Wednesday.
In this case, if Isco plays, Real Madrid has much more chances to maintain the ball and therefore, more opportunities to surprise.
But the biggest problem (and for which I think Barcelona will win again on Saturday) is the error of the Real Madrid's defence when losing the ball and running backward. And for that reason, it affected both the first and the second goal.
That is why, for me, Real Madrid will fall again against Barcelona and this time it will be by free kicks, either by Messi's goals or by Piqué's headed goals.
