#1 Doing just about enough in defence

Huddersfield Town v Arsenal - Premier League
It was a grind for the North London side

While Arsenal's characteristic defensive loopholes were on display against Huddersfield on the day, the visitors did just about enough in the back line to ensure that they did not concede in their last match of the season.

Shkodran Mustafi, who has been subject to a lot of criticism for his lapses in concentration this season, stepped up to lead the defence and looked strong ahead of the goal. Granit Xhaka made some crucial tackles on the day and was pivotal in Arsenal retaining their lead on the day.

Hector Bellerin, Saed Kolasinac, and Nacho Monreal maintained the shape of the back four and were decent in defence through most part of the game. Rob Holding looked scrappy from time to time, though, and it was evident that he has not played with the first team for long.

Ospina, though, was the heart and soul of the Arsenal defence on the day, and covered up for the errors of his defenders through the 90 minutes.
