Manchester City v Huddersfield Town - Premier League
Manchester City broke many records

In the Premier League 2017-18, Mohamed Salah broke the record of most goals scored in a 38-game Premier League campaign in what was only his first season for the club.

Manchester City broke a few when they won the league by a record 19 points, became the earliest winners with the most number of points and scored the most number of goals.

The World Cup in Russia is considered as one of the best in terms of entertainment with a lot of Premier League stars providing stellar performances adding to the excitement of the English fans.

Eden Hazard, Kevin De Bruyne and Romelu Lukaku's heroics for Belgium, Harry Kane winning the golden boot and the breakthrough performances of Harry Maguire and Kieran Trippier for England, along with Everton's new signing Yeri Mina's devastating headers and Paul Pogba and Ngolo Kante's control at the midfield for France were the highlights of one of the most successful World Cup tournaments, and when they return to action in the Premier League, they will surely be high on confidence.

All these managerial changes, exceptional signings, records being shattered and the quality of individual performances set the benchmark and laid the foundation to what might be one of the best seasons in the English Premier League.
