#4 Liverpool vs. Southampton
History beckons the Reds as they look to secure their sixth consecutive win on the trot in the Premier League for the first time in their history.
Jurgen Klopp's men have been by far the best side in the league. They have stabilized themselves at the back which has given the attacking trio the license to go out and create havoc up front. Though they are still not at their fluid best yet, they could hit top gear any moment.
Mark Hughes’ side won at Selhurst Park on their last away trip but will need something special to record only the sixth league win ever at Anfield. Southampton will be without their striker Danny Ings since Liverpool are his parent club, which means that Manolo Gabbiadini could very well start up front today.
Prediction: Liverpool 3 - 0 Southampton
#3 Brighton vs. Tottenham
Brighton, at home, can be very dangerous side as they have already shown against Manchester United a few weeks back. 34-year-old striker Glenn Murray is in terrific form, having already scored 4 times in the first five games.
Spurs, on the other hand, are in a rut with three defeats on the bounce including a late surrender against Inter midweek. With off-field distractions due to the opening of the new stadium, these three losses have taken the shine away from their excellent start to the campaign.
Prediction: Brighton 1 - 2 Tottenham Hotspur
