#6 Newcastle vs. Leicester City
Hovering in the relegation zone, Rafa Benitez's Newcastle is in all sorts of trouble at the moment. The side from St. James Park is one of the three teams yet to win a game in the current campaign. There is an ongoing turmoil between the club owners and the fans with the transfer market enraged the supporters who are calling for the owners to stand down. However, Rafa will be hoping that those distractions don't affect their game and Newcastle can get their first win of the season.
Leicester, on the other hand, is doing what they do best. They are hovering around that mid-table position where they usually prefer to stay. Gray is still injured for Leicester and will be out for this game. Last season the Foxes won this fixture by three goals to two and would be hoping for a repeat performance this season as well.
Prediction: Newcastle 1 - 2 Leicester City
#5 Man City vs. Brighton
Manchester City shrugged off their shock defeat against Lyon in the Champions League with back-to-back wins in the Premier League and the Carabao Cup. Good news for them is that their summer transfer Riyad Mahrez is back among the goals and Pep Guardiola would be hoping that he can continue his good run going.
Brighton had never won at Manchester City in eight previous attempts, and Chris Houghton knows that his side has an uphill task if they want to get anything out of the game. The Seagulls haven't won an away game in 16 matches and would be desperate to keep a clean sheet which they have failed to do so far.
Prediction: Man City 3 - 0 Brighton
