The Englishman was in scintillating form in the past month and has stormed into the contenders' list as a result. Vardy enjoyed an immensely fruitful March and carried his good fortunes into April as well.

The Leicester City striker started the month of March with a goal in the 1-2 defeat at the hands of Watford. Vardy followed that up with a Man of the Match display against Fulham in the next game, scoring a brace and setting up another to help Leicester City win 3-1.

Vardy started in the win against Burnley in the following game but failed to score. But the Englishman was back among the goals in the last game of the month at home to Bournemouth, scoring one in a 2-0 win. Last week, Vardy continued his goalscoring form against Huddersfield, scoring a brace in a 4-1 win.

The Englishman has 15 goals and 4 assists from 28 games in the Premier League so far and has scored 7 in his last 6 games in the league!
