Sterling is an integral part of the Manchester City side who are looking to defend their title on the wake of a stellar charge from Liverpool. After failing to score against Bournemouth at the start of March, Sterling gave a 5-star performance in the following game, against Watford at home. He scored a fantastic hat-trick and helped City secure a 3-1 win. He started the next game against Fulham as well but failed to score. Last week, Sterling was an unused substitute as City won 2-0 against Cardiff at home.

The Englishman has scored 15 goals and registered 9 assists in the Premier League so far and is 6th among the top contenders for the Golden Boot. Sterling has hit the woodwork thrice already this season.
