#1 Will Liverpool's front three click into gear against Manchester City?
Last season's stellar campaign was always going to be a difficult act to follow, especially for the trio of Salah-Firmino-Mane making the difference in last season's Premier League match at Anfield and over the course of the Champions League quarterfinal, with the trident carrying Liverpool all the way to the Champions League final. The key behind their success was their selflessness and ability to pick the right option once they reached the final third.
There have been signs of selfishness this time around, with Sadio Mane and Mo Salah both guilty of going alone rather than picking their teammate out in a better position. Mo Salah, however, experienced a similar start last season, where he would fail to put the ball in the back of the net after finding himself in a promising position. The improvements made in defence and midfield mean that the Reds are capable of scoring from all areas of the pitch and are less dependent on their front three.
