Averaging 2.5 key-passes a game, Gylfi Sigurdsson has been key to Marcos Silva's new look, Everton side who are currently 6th on the League table.

The Icelandic midfielder has scored a goal every 182 minutes while also contributing two assists this season.

On 16 August 2017, Gylfi signed for Everton from Swansea for a reported £40 million transfer fee (with £5 million in potential add-ons), a club-record deal.

In his first season at the club, Sigurdsson failed to live up the expectations that inevitably came with his transfer fee. However, it seems new Everton manager Marcos Silva is beginning to get the best out of the 29-year old.
