On 22 July 2017, Arnautović signed West Ham United from the now relegated Stoke City on a five-year contract for a club record £20 million fee, which could rise to £25 million with add-ons.

When the 24-year old scored 11 goals last year in his maiden season, he became the first Westham player to do so in the Premier League since Bobby Zamora in 2007.

The Austrian has scored five goals and has contributed an assist in the 901 minutes he has played so far in the Premier League this season averaging 3.1 shots from inside the box per game.

His performances have seen him linked with Jose Mourinho's Manchester United for a rumoured fee of 50 million pounds.
