Currently, in the world of modern football, there are many popular young guns, for eg. Kylian Mbappe, Jadon Sancho, and Vinicius. These players are making a name for themselves in different leagues. In today's dynamic football it is necessary to have young players in your squad and more importantly to make sure that the player's development is done properly i.e sending on loan or giving minutes in the first team
However, this season, the Premier League is blessed with many young prospects who are definitely going to create havoc for their respective clubs in the next summer transfer window.
The biggest story so far has been 18-year-old Chelsea's Callum Hudson-Odoi, the U-17 World Cup winner has been constantly linked with German giants Bayern Munich and reports were he also handed a transfer request as he was not getting game time under manager Maurizio Sarri. Things took a turnaround as, before the Bournemouth game, Sarri confirmed that Hudson-Odoi will be staying at Chelsea at least for this season.
Many young players find it difficult to adapt to the Premier League but there are many who leave their mark as soon as they step on the pitch. Here are the top five wonderkids this season in the EPL:

#5 Matteo Guendouzi (Arsenal)
The 19-year-old Frenchman has earned a name for himself under Unai Emery as he's considered one of the best CM in making. While he's not been involved directly in any of Arsenal's goal in the league, the Frenchman has certainly provided some match-winning performances for the Gunners. Guendouzi was reportedly bought for only £7 million and has adapted to English football from day one.
Chelsea (home), Cardiff (home), Manchester United (away) are just three of many games where Guendouzi has proven to be vital due to his ball carrying and distribution ability. Matteo is still 19 and the gunners should make sure that he gets enough game time and is satisfied at the club.
#4 Rúben Neves (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
Wolves signed Neves for a club record fee of £16.11 million in 2017, according to reports. After his first season at the club, He had a spot in the Team of the Season. Also, Neves earned nominations for the EFL Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season awards.
The newly promoted Wolves are currently catching everyone by surprise and are currently sitting comfortably in the seventh place. The 21-year-old Portuguese midfielder has already bagged two goals and two assists in 22 league matches. Neves is highly rated for his long-range and freekick abilities. The midfielder has also proved vital in defensive areas having made 188 recoveries.
#3 James Maddison (Leicester City)
During his time at Norwich, Maddison was given regular starts in the team during the 2017-18 season and was named Norwich City's Player of the Season at the end of the campaign, as well as receiving a nomination for the EFL Championship Young Player of the Season award.
Maddison signed for Leicester City back in June for £20 million. His first goal in the Premier League came in a victory over Wolves. Maddison has already registered five goals and four assists for Leicester in the league this season.
He is still 22 years old and would be certainly under the radar of England Manager Gareth Southgate for the upcoming European Championship.
#2 David Brooks (AFC Bournemouth)
Brooks started playing in the Manchester City youth squads from a very early age. Then, Sheffield United gave him the chance to become a professional player in 2015 and he grabbed it with both hands. He played 33 matches for the team in the 2017-18 season, scoring three goals.
He was caught up with the decision to pick between Wales or England at the international stage, with the player electing England as his international squad. He excelled individually at the 2017 Esperanzas de Toulon tournament and helped England win the competition. Although he chose to play for England initially, he made his debut for the Wales senior team in 2017.
In 2018, Brooks joined Bournemouth and made it to the Premier League for a fee of £11.5 million. The 21-year-old has been in magnificent form in the EPL and has already registered six goals and four assists.
#1 Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)
Some may not know, but Marcus Rashford is still 21 years old. Ever since his stunning debut in the 2015-16 campaign, Rashford has remained a big piece for Manchester United. He scored eight goals in 18 games in his first season, earning the Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year award and became a key player for the club.
In the following two campaigns, he scored 24 goals in 105 games in all competitions for the Red Devils. Rashford helped United win the 2016-17 Europa League, scoring a great free kick against Celta de Vigo in the semifinals. The youngster continued to show his vast potential.
Currently, after struggling under Mourinho, the 21-year-old has restarted his season with a bang under the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. The England International has already scored eight goals and bagged six assist in the Premier League for the Red Devils. Manchester United has to make sure that they keep Rashford happy as many clubs will come for him next summer.
