2. Jorginho (Napoli - Chelsea)
On 14 July 2018, Jorginho signed for Chelsea on a five-year contract on the same day as Sarri was hired at the club.
Napoli and the Italian pass master did not disappoint his boss at their new club as in Chelsea's third league match of the campaign, a 2–1 win away at Newcastle United, Jorginho completed 158 passes, which was a new record for most successful passes by a Chelsea player in a single match in the Premier League, and the second all-time in the league, behind İlkay Gündoğan's 167 completed passes for Manchester City against Chelsea the year prior.
He sets the tempo of the team, and if they hadn't have bought him then it would have been a difficult role for anyone to play, especially with Cesc Fabregas injured early in the season
The 26-year-old is currently leading the league in passing stats with 776 passes to his name, 100 more than any other player in the premier league so far.
