Mourinho is known for playing a pragmatic style of football, setting up defensively and not implementing an exciting, offensive style. Some would remember the 'Park the bus' mentality which Jose Mourinho had during his time at Old Trafford, something United fans absolutely loathed. Arsenal fans have criticised Emery for his defensive approach to matches and understandably so but why would those same fans then call for Mourinho to be appointed?
Throughout the year's, Arsenal have been known for their offensive, eye-catching brand of football with slick passes and quick movement to leave the opposition flummoxed. The Gunners need to preserve the values Arsene Wenger set in place and maintain the club tradition of beautiful, free-flowing football which was introduced during the Wenger's time. Replacing a defensive-minded coach like Emery with another one like Mourinho is not the solution for Arsenal's problem.
