#1 Jamie Vardy (Leicester City)
It's not just Jamie Vardy, but the whole Leicester City team has been in incredible form with more than a few exceptional Premier League results.
Despite scoring 24 goals in 2015-16 Premier League season, when Leicester won the Premier League crown, Harry Kane grabbed the Golden Boot by a goal's margin.
But the 33-year-old English international is now in pole position with 17 goals from 20 appearances this season. As a result of this extraordinary goal-scoring form, the 'Fox in the Box' has put some distance between him and the rest of the contenders.
Leicester's recent dip in form could be a matter of concern for fans, and for Vardy. With a three-goal lead over the second-placed Rashford, Aubameyang and Danny Ings (all with 14 goals), Jamie Vardy has become the top favourite for this season's Golden Boot. Moreover, upcoming fixtures in the Premier League is likely to favour Vardy as well.
