#3 Liverpool's 16-point lead at the top is the highest in Europe's top five leagues

Even Man City couldn't keep up with Liverpool this season!

Liverpool's irresistible run has propelled them into a league of their own - so much so that they lead Manchester City by a mammoth 16 points!

And the most interesting part is - the Reds even have a game in hand!

While most of this is down to the side's rich vein of form, but their rivals have contrived to make it easier for the Reds too.

The Citizens have frittered away this season, losing five times already despite some big wins along the way. Leicester City have shown tremendous promise under Brendan Rodgers, but haven't been to able to cope with Liverpool's form either.

The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have blown hot and cold, whereas Arsenal are still stuck in a rut. All these left the Reds totally unchallenged at the top, and they have now disappeared out of sight.

The 16-point lead that they are enjoying at the top is also higher than in any of the top five leagues - in fact, the next biggest point difference between the league leaders and the second-placed side is eight points.

And the league? The French Ligue 1!
