With 64 points in the bag from a possible 66, Liverpool have made the best start to a season by any side in Europe's top five leagues in the history!

So unstoppable have the Reds been, that they have won 21 games out of the 22 that they've played, with Manchester United being the only side to have successfully taken points off Jurgen Klopp's juggernaut on matchday nine.

That stalemate instead, seemed to have spurred this side further, rampaging through the next 13 games without breaking a sweat, including a 2-0 reverse over the Red Devils in the last game.

Manchester City previously held the record for the best ever start when they won 19 of the first 20 games in the record-breaking 2017-18 season - but it took Liverpool just two years to surpass that mark and have gone three better with wins over Sheffield United, Tottenham Hotspur and lately, Manchester United since drawing level.

All pointers clearly suggest that Liverpool will be the Premier League champions this year - at last!
