Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur - Premier League
What a difference one player can make! Scott McTominay was a huge miss in the United midfield in the last few games. The Scottish midfielder had picked up an injury before the international break and was sidelined for the last three games. Interestingly, United drew two and lost one of those three games. Thankfully though, Solskjaer had his midfield enforcer back for Tottenham’s visit and McTominay immediately made United look like a changed team.

The Scottish midfielder took the game by the scruff of the neck right from the start and dictated the proceedings. His pressing play and positioning were crucial for United as the home side absolutely dominated the initial stages. McTominay shielded his back four well and won most of the 50-50 battles. He also drove forward at every opportunity and was the midfield general United were crying out for.
After United took the lead in the second half, McTominay continued to dominate the midfield, bullying the opposition and switching the play well. His controlled aggression was just what the doctor ordered for Manchester United.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.

Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
