#1 Raheem Sterling (Manchester City) - £144.0M
And so it's official! Raheem Sterling is the most valuable player in the Premier League, with an almighty price tag of £144M! I think his consistently sublime performances for Manchester City over the years warrants such a high market value. There are few who can do it better.
To think Sterling is still only 25 years old is crazy, too! He's accomplished what most top flight footballers would dream of doing by the time their career ended, yet he's managed it before his career is even halfway through.
Sterling was another standout performer for England in the 2018 World Cup, and his performances saw his market value rise from £81M to £108M over the course of a few months.
I doubt any side could afford what City would ask for before they would accept an offer, so City fans can relax about Sterling's future. The only club he cold consider as an upwards move in England would be Liverpool, but given his tumultous past with the Reds, that's a very unrealistic prospect.
