#2 Gabriel Martinelli
Age: 18
Current club: Arsenal
Nationality: Brazilian
Gabriel Teodoro Martinelli Silva is the latest summer addition to Arsenal's dangerous frontline. The 18-year-old joined the Londoners from Brazilian club Ituano for an undisclosed fee. However, The Telegraph reports it was something around £6 million that Arsenal paid to the samba club to secure the teenager's services.
Gabriel Martinelli has made a flying start to his life at London, scoring three goals from five Europa League appearances and four goals from two EFL Carabao Cup appearances.
Even though he got a handful number of games to prove his deadly attributes in front of the opponents' goal, the Cristiano Ronaldo admirer has already become a fan favourite at Emirates. The recent change in Arsenal's management style and an injury to their season's leading goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have given the teenage prodigy a chance to get some regular game-time in the Premier League.
His outstanding goal against Chelsea certainly signifies that he is trying his best to seal his place in Mikel Arteta's starting eleven. It is believed that the Spaniard would field the teeenager in Arsenal's starting line-up week in, week out.
He is fast, versatile and knows how to grab a goal from a half-chance. Having a player like Gabriel Martinelli - who can create goal-scoring opportunities and finish a game by his own abilities - would help the Londoners in the longer run.
