Winner: Eden Hazard

Hazard in the Whites of Real Madrid: A new step in his career

The biggest winner from the transfer window has to be Eden Hazard. With all that was going on at Chelsea - a squad not good enough to support his abilities and a coach too rigid to change his tactics, Hazard gave his everything to propel Chelsea to a Europa League title and a 3rd place finish. Without Hazard, it might not have been possible.

But staying for one more season would really have dampened Hazard's talents. The transfer ban means that the squad has not changed much when they were in dire need of reinforcements.

Hazard realized his dream destination, which was Real Madrid, and he'll possibly be the go-to man at the Santiago Bernabeu. It is a team that favours Hazard, that can help him to win more trophies, that can boost his chances at individual awards, and he'll also face bigger challenges in LaLiga - an entirely different setup than that in England.

For Eden Hazard's career, this transfer has couldn't come in a better way or better time. He left as a Chelsea legend, he'll be loved in Madrid, he can engrave his legacy in Spain. Hazard is the biggest winner in this EPL transfer window.
