#2 Fikayo Tomori
Fikayo Tomori was handed a start ahead of Andreas Christensen against Sheffield United. Despite the Blues conceding two late goals in that fixture, the Chelsea graduate was a composed figure in the back-four.
After a promising start, Tomori retained his place in Lampard's 3-4-3 system against Wolves. If not for the 21-year-old, Marcos Alonso would have endured a tough time while marking Adama Traore.
Tomori, with his pace and composure, managed to weather Traore's initial storm. Also, his ample cover ensured that Alonso bombed forward with freedom. An absolute peach of a strike to break the deadlock made the youngster's evening more eventful.
Still fresh from his scorching effort, Tomori made a purposeful run towards the Wolves' penalty-area, passing the ball to Mason Mount, which ended up with Tammy Abraham, who guided the ball inside the net for second Chelsea goal in three minutes.
Alongside Andreas Christensen and Kurt Zouma, the 21-year-old lacked proper guidance after Antonio Rudiger's withdrawal at half-time due to a groin issue, as Chelsea conceded twice in the second half.
