#2. Ruud van Nistelrooy
One thing Manchester United are missing out on this season is a steady flow of goals from their attackers, but over the years Old Trafford has been graced by some fine strikers of the game and Ruud van Nistelrooy was one of them, who is the penultimate entry in our list.
Nistelrooy, who is the fifth-highest goalscorer in UEFA Champions League history with 56 goals, featured in 150 league games for the Red Devils over five years, scoring 95 goals.
He can be described as the ultimate fox in the box, with only one of his 150 goals in all competitions for the club coming from outside of the box and it goes without saying that his greatest asset was finishing moves and scoring goals.
He had to wait for three seasons before he scored his 50th goal for the 13 times PL champions in his 68th outing for the club, just missing out on the title for the fastest player to reach the feat by just two games.
