#1. Alan Shearer
Well, we have reached at the end of our list and as many might've already guessed, we culminate our countdown with the legend himself, Alan Shearer taking the honour of being the fastest player to reach 50 goals for a single club in the Premier League history.
His entry at the summit of our list should not come as a surprise, as he is the greatest striker the English top-flight has seen to date, notching a record 260 goals in his career.
He also holds the distinction of scoring 100 or more goals for two different clubs in the PL, scoring 112 for Blackburn Rovers and 148 for Newcastle United.
It was with the Rovers that he would go on to create history, by scoring his 50th goal during his third season with the club in just 66 games. He was at his prolific best in his four-year spell with the North England club and left the club with an incredible goals-per-game ratio of 0.8115.
It seems this will be Shearer's one more record, apart from the one for most goals scored, that any player will find difficult to surpass in the coming years.
