#6 Dwight Yorke: Coventry vs Aston Villa - 12.16 seconds
Back in September 1995, one of the historical sides of the Premier League, Aston Villa, outclassed Coventry football club by a devastating 3-0 scoreline. Dwight Yorke, who was with Villa before joining Manchester United, struck for the travelers in the 12th second of the game to register his name in the pages of Premier League history.
On that night, the Trinidad and Tobago international not only scored an early goal but also helped his team by providing a valuable assist. Savo Milosevic scored the other two goals for Villa.
#5 Mark Viduka: Charlton vs Leeds - 11.90 seconds
Charlton Athletic welcomed Leeds United in March 2001. The goals from Mark Viduka and Alan Smith sealed all three points for the visitor club.
It was Mark Viduka who scored one of the fastest goals in PL history in the 12th second of the match. Straight after the first whistle, Ian Harte provided a brilliant pass towards Charlton's defensive line.
Smith then took over, providing an assist to Viduka. After taking a deft touch on the ball, Viduka directed the ball toward the nets with absolute precision.
