Real Madrid cool interest in Eden Hazard
According to AS, Real Madrid's interest in Eden Hazard seems to have become a thing of the past now with Los Blancos shifting their focus on to Isco. Hazard had been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and the player had even suggested that his time at Chelsea may well be over.
Over the course of the World Cup he had said:
“After six wonderful years at Chelsea it might be time to discover something different."
“Certainly, after this World Cup, I can decide if I want to stay or go, but Chelsea will have the final decision. You know my preferred destination.”
However, Chelsea slapped a price tag of £200 million on the Belgian wizard and as a result, Real Madrid have decided to back off and do things differently. Julen Lopetegui has been able to extract the best out of Isco in their time together in the Spanish international camp and therefore, Madrid wants to see whether or not the new gaffer can work his magic at the Bernabeu.
