Spurs might not have signed anyone in the summer transfer window but the one player they were heavily linked was Tanguy Ndombele. The Lyon midfielder might not have been signed but there are still reports linking him to the Lilywhites.

When asked about those claims, Ndombele stated that he is happy to be linked with top clubs as it is proof of his good work. He also added that while he is happy right now at Lyon, things could change in 6 months’ time if his happiness fades.
“It means I am doing well. For now, I am happy and it is good for me. But if in six months I am not happy, maybe we’ll talk about it a bit more. I am at Lyon and I am always looking ahead. I say to myself, ‘why not?’ but today I am not in any hurry,” he said.
