#5 Palace ruined Fulham’s comeback
It was an exciting moment at Craven Cottage. The whites were back in the Premier League and had splashed over 75m in the transfer market. They have signed some big names like World Cup winner Schurle and Jean Michaël Seri. Facing them was another London outfit Crystal Palace, whose most significant achievement in the transfer market was keeping hold of Zaha. On paper, many people predicted Fulham to win this game, but on the pitch, it was a different story.
Fulham dominated the match while Palace sat back and hit them on the break. On the 41st minute, Jeffrey Schlupp scored on his 100th Premier League game to open the scoring. On the 79th minute, Wilfried Zaha rounded the goalkeeper to double the advantage.
