Inspired by a study conducted by the New York Times, here is how the English Premier League table would have looked like if only goals from players of English origin were taken into consideration.
Manchester City might have been the team celebrating at the end of the season, however, the fact that Joe Hart and James Milner are the only domestic players playing regularly can be a worrying issue for them as they find themselves at the 18th position in this table. Liverpool, who finished second, are on top of this table with their English players such as Daniel Sturridge, Steven Gerrard and Raheem Sterling getting a fair amount of goals.
