So after a great start to his career with the Magpies, manager Rafa Benitez wants to purchase Kenedy on a permanent basis, according to the Mirror. The Toons will have to pay £15 million, his release clause, to acquire him on a permanent basis and are likely to trigger it.
Meanwhile, Swansea City are interested in signing Tom James from Yeovil Town and are likely to succeed in their endeavours this summer. According to Independent, James could cost Swansea £500,000 as down payment since he has only been at his current club for 18 months.
