After having tied Harry Kane down on a humongous six-year deal which will see him stay at Tottenham Hotspur until 2024, the club are now looking to extend the contract of his partner-in-crime.
Dele Alli had 14 goals and 14 assists in all competitions this season for Spurs. However, he is only on £60,000 per week. The new contract will see him earn £100,000 per week, according to Football London.
Alli's current contract still has four more years to run (until 2022). However, Spurs do not want to lose him to a bigger club that is willing to pay twice as much as he earns now.
Mauricio Pochettino turned down Real Madrid to continue his project in north London and he wants to retain all the players that have made Spurs a top-four side in recent years.
