Mata has offers
Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata has been offered a new contract by the Red Devils according to his father. The Spaniard’s contract ends at the end of the season, after which he becomes a free agent.

However, his father has revealed that he has been offered a new contract and that they are happy about that. But he also added that there are offers from top clubs that play in the Champions League.
"Manchester United have offered to renew us, we are very happy," Juan Mata Snr said.
"But there are proposals from Champions League teams.”
He then spoke on the prospect of going back to Spain and also admitted that joining Manchester City won’t be ideal.
"Spain, maybe, but today is not the day to talk, it is not yet decided."
"City? It would not be the ideal option," he replied.
