KRC Genk v Everton: Pre-Season Friendly

Agent of Leandro Trossard, Josy Comhair, has claimed that his client has interest from Arsenal. However, according to him, Trossard, who has scored 20 goals for Genk this season, should reject a move to the Gunners.

He revealed that Wolfsburg are also interested and believes that it would be better for his career if he goes to the German outfit, where he would get more playing time, and then go to Arsenal 2-3 years down the line. Comhair is of the opinion that Trossard might not be able to take the mental pressure if he doesn’t play regularly at the Emirates now.

“Arsenal could (sign him). But for his career it might be better that he first go to a club like Wolfsburg. If he plays there for two years, he can still go to Arsenal. If he goes straight to Arsenal and you don’t play there, then it might be mentally harder for Trossard.”
