Real Madrid might be making some signings in the summer but it won’t be without them selling some players first. After all, they have a stadium renovation to be concerned about, so they will have to sell players before they can buy.

And one such player could be Raphael Varane. The defender apparently wants to leave the club with Manchester United being interested in him but Real Madrid will only sell if the Red Devils trigger the Frenchman’s €500 million release clause.

Meanwhile, Philippe Coutinho is another player who could make way for his team to raise funds for other signings. He has seen his status within the club fall down and Barcelona might cash in on him.

According to ESPN, the Catalans are looking to raise around €300 million and would be willing to sell Coutinho for around €100 million, and are also open to selling Rakitic and Samuel Umtiti. All these players have been linked with both Manchester United and Chelsea.
