Liverpool determined to sign Nabil Fekir from Lyon
In what could be a deal that would cost Liverpool upwards of £60m, Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir is next on their radar.
The France international has been heavily scouted by the Anfield side and Jurgen Klopp has identified him as Philippe Coutinho's replacement, according to a report in Liverpool Echo.
Fekir had 23 goals and 9 assists in all competitions this season. He had been a target for several top clubs in recent years and it was only a cruciate ligament injury in 2015 that saw interest in him dwindle before he returned to form.
Lyon are trying their best to hold on to him with Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid also interested. If those two clubs enter the fray, a bidding war could ensue even though Fekir reportedly wants a move to Anfield.
