#1 Chelsea

The Londoners missed out Champions League qualification last season and could sack manager Antonio Conte as a result. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea are back again for Maurizio Sarri, who is reportedly very close to the Blues.
Following this news, it only makes sense for the Stamford Bridge outfit to make an offer for Daniele Rugani – and that is precisely what Calcio Mercato have reported.
The Stamford Bridge outfit have reportedly offered €30 million for the star, which is a bit below the asking price of €40 million set by Juventus.
But that is not the biggest news surrounding the Blues today.
According to AS, Roman Abramovich had targeted Cristiano Ronaldo as a means to bring a global star to the team. Unfortunately, however, the Blues missed out on the Champions League, which just rendered their interest as futile.
