#3 Emery speaks on Pochettino to United
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has weighed in on the prospect of Mauricio Pochettino becoming the next full-time manager of Manchester United. The Argentine has been linked with the job at Old Trafford after Jose Mourinho got sacked.
Emery, however, believes that there is no reason for the Spurs boss to join the Red Devils because the Londoners not only have some great players in the team but are also ahead of the Old Trafford outfit in the Premier League table, praising the Spurs tactician for the job he has done.
“I think he’s very happy at Tottenham,” Emery said. “I think he’s coaching a very big team, with very big players. They are now in the Champions League [last 16] and they are also in a better position in the Premier League than Manchester United.
“I think his performance at Tottenham is very big.”
