Sky Sports reporter Matt Le Tissier has stated that N’Golo Kante might be sold by manager Maurizio Sarri. The World Cup-winning midfielder has been played out of position after the arrival of the Italian.

Even though the former Leicester City man has only just signed an extension with Chelsea, he is being linked with a move out of the club by Le Tissier, who thinks Kante is one of the best holding players in the world and that he feels sorry to see him being played out of position.

“I feel sorry for him, I really do,” he said. “He’s one of the best in the world in that position. Unfortunately, this coach doesn’t want to play in a way that suits him.

“I have a lot of sympathy for him and if this is the way the coach wants to play, he actually might as well sell N’Golo Kante.”
