Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has found it difficult to break into the starting XI at the Stamford Bridge for Chelsea. Ever since the arrivals of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic, the Spaniard has been pushed further down the pecking order.

As a result, he could leave. According to Sky Sport’s Dharmesh Sheth, the former Barcelona man could leave the Londoners as it is not clear as to whether he would want to be a backup – even though manager Maurizio Sarri wants to retain him.
"Fabregas isn't getting in the team, they've got a lot of midfielders in that area at the moment, and three or four are getting picked ahead of him," he stated.
"Whether Fabregas would want to spend the rest of the season on the bench, I don't know. Fabregas is a possibility [to leave] even though Sarri does want him to stay."
